Window facing sidewalk?

During the Sorrel Weed House investigation in the new three-part Ghost Files episode, one moment sparked instant debate: a dark figure appearing in a second-floor window.

It was quick, subtle, and eerie enough that viewers are split between two explanations — shadow person or pedestrian.

Some fans lean paranormal. Shadow figures are one of the most reported phenomena at the Sorrel Weed House, and the silhouette in the episode seems to appear inside the room, not out on the street.

Its shape is defined enough to look humanoid, but not clear enough to be confidently identified. The moment has the same “something’s off” energy that many classic shadow-person sightings carry.

But the mundane explanation holds weight too. The house faces a public street, and a person walking by could easily cast a distorted reflection or shadow through those tall windows.

Streetlights, passing cars, and Savannah’s constant foot traffic all create opportunities for an ordinary silhouette to look supernatural on camera.

So what was it? Personally, I think the timing and the way the shadow sits in the frame make it interesting, but not definitive.

It’s one of those moments where both explanations fit — a perfect example of why the believer/skeptic tension in Ghost Files works so well.

Ghostly figure or sidewalk silhouette? Either way, it’s one of the most talked-about seconds in the entire episode. What do you see in that window?.

🕯️ Our Thoughts

The episode was very entertaining as they usually are with these two guys in a haunted house. The shadow person evidence just caught our attention and created some discussion from the couch. It’s interesting to read others point of view, but after seeing paranormal evidence for more than 15 years together, sometimes the easy explanation is the right one.
